RBA (Rotary Club of Bangalore Abilities) was chartered in 2018. We are a club of mostly differently-abled members. Giving back to society and making a difference in every area of service is our mission. Our club celebrates important dates like India and World Multiple Sclerosis Days, Global Accessibility Awareness Day, Helen Keller Day, Teacher's Day, White Cane Day, and International Day of Persons with Disabilities. We have had many memorable fellowships, car and bike rallies for the blind, have given away Unsung Hero awards while celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3rd every year, tree plantation drives, classes in Spoken English / computers / braille / CLAP (Communication, Leadership, Aptitude, and Personal Growth program), timely assistance provided during the pandemic, donation of wheelchairs / stationery / saplings, Happy School project and countless other projects. RBA is a 100%-giving club to the Rotary Foundation. All our presidents, by implementing so many projects, not only brought laurels to the club, but have enhanced the club's visibility. We have constantly strived to promote the value of service in our community.

RBA envisions a world where individuals with disabilities are fully integrated into society, recognized for their unique contributions, and living fulfilling lives without barriers.
RBA mission is to empower individuals with disabilities through education, advocacy, and community service, fostering a more inclusive and equitable society.
RBA distinguishes itself from other
nonprofits in several key ways:
1. Focus on Disability: RBA is specifically
dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities. This focus allows the
club to tailor its programs and services to the unique needs and challenges
faced by this community.
2. Member-Driven Approach: RBA is driven by
its members, who are themselves individuals with disabilities or passionate
advocates for their cause. This ensures that the club's initiatives are
grounded in real-world experiences and reflect the perspectives of the
community it serves.
3. Innovative and Impactful Projects: RBA
is known for its innovative and impactful projects, which have a significant
positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities. These projects
often go beyond traditional forms of service, exploring new and creative ways
to address challenges and create opportunities.
4. Strong Community Engagement: RBA is
deeply committed to community engagement, working closely with other
organizations, government agencies, and individuals to create a more inclusive
and equitable society. This collaborative approach helps to amplify the club's
impact and reach a wider audience.
5. Unsung Heroes: Every year, we recognize
the unsung heroes among the disabled. We celebrate their achievements by
awarding them with a memento, honorarium, and shine a light on their
achievements.
6. Other celebrations: Our club celebrates
important landmark dates like Helen Keller's Day, World MS Day, White Cane Day,
International Day of Persons with Disability, GAAD, World Braille Day and other
days of significance.
